How to love your jewellery.

Your Twiggy Collective jewellery has been made with luxury, longevity and convenience in mind. Each piece is handmade using delicate materials, care must be taken to ensure they stay in good condition.

Waterproof
The materials used to make your jewellery have been carefully selected to ensure you can wear your pieces in water. We recommend rinsing your jewellery with water after swimming in the ocean.

No Tarnishing
The metal parts of your Twiggy Collective jewellery are predominantly 14Kt gold filled, along with some 18Kt gold plated elements and gold vermeil. Gold filled jewellery is made by pressure bonding a layer of gold to another metal. It is designed to stand the test of time, it will not tarnish, rub off or change colour. Gold plated jewellery is made by using electricity or chemicals to bond a very thin layer of gold over another metal. Gold plated and gold vermeil jewellery will fade over time as the molecules from the base metal will slowly transfer into the thin layer of gold, causing it to wear down.
